If you don’t know these cars they are the ultimate sleeper AWD SUV with 500HP stock and a 7k+ tow rating, it’s a bulletproof screamer in sheep’s commuter SUV clothing. Plus it’s a Porsche ! Don’t let the myths of working on these scare you, it’s got all the same tech your 2025 has just earlier. This car has undergone significant rehab since auction and it’s now my favorite commuter car but I got a truck and we don’t have room to keep it sadly. Some of the work: The car has a new fuel system, a brand new Porsche Refurbished HPFP has been installed and it also has a new in-tank, new fuel filter. it runs and drives very well but is having a VVT actuator error intermittently, it doesn’t affect mpg or performance but it’s annoying when it pops low power mode. I may not get to swapping the new ones before this sells so they’ll go with the car if not- bid accordingly! the performance remains stellar with the new fuel system. I'm taking a huge bath on this given all the new parts and these turbo cars are on the appreciation curve now so this is a great opportunity for someone will to do grab a rare car at a bargain . Porsche Cayenne 4.8 V8 Twin Turbo (500hp). The car isn't perfect but all the things you want to work work except the driver side rear window....which does work except the power shade system seems to have a stripped gear and prevents the window from going down because it never fully seats down or up. This car has a power shade system, rear seat entertainment, sunroof, adaptive cruise, air suspension, PASM (Porsche Active Stability Management)...pretty much every option except the carbon brakes. This much car for this money is unheard of and this is a 958 body. Car did come from auction as a flood car but TN gave it a clean title (in hand) and it has no flood issues. I've been through the driveline thoroughly and its been pampered and restored where needed mechanically for the last 10k miles. New items:
Tires,PCV/Breather,Air Filters,PSteering fluid, PASM Fluid, Diff Fluids, Transfer Case Fluids, OIl changes, Plugs, coils, floor mats, Apple car play upgrade stereo, , New low pressure fuel pump and filter,Alcanterra steering wheel cover.
Also have to go with the car: New Driver's seat base in Beige (interior color). Beige leather care kit, Racechip Black (to pump it to near 630hp). It now has 151k but I wouldn't hestitate to take it to 200k....the motor is strong with no leaks, and no blow by . The transmission is the equivalent of a 4l80e in a truck so it can tow and last but it will probably need a refresh at some point.
